I'd like to express my sincere thanks to everyone who set up the Moor to Sea long distance trial on 24 Sunday 2010.  It was the first time we had competed in this LDT and it was the best we have ever done, congratulations.  The route marking was great, together with the road book made navigation easy. Your club even ordered fine weather to enhance the spectacular scenery in this part of the world. Speaking with other follow riders from Gloucestershire they all enjoyed your event and could have done better "if only that rock wasn't in the way or oow that was slippery " happy stories all round.  You also had a cheerful bunce of observers and even the Policeman who arrived in the car park at the end of the event had a laugh about the small amount of mud on the road asking if we had a shovel and a brush ? . I completed to Moor to Sea on the 11th Oct.
I would like to thamk everyone involved with the organisation and implementation of the event. I found the information and directions very good indeed. I could see that a great deal of effort had gone into arranging the event along with the implementation and marshalling on the day.
